Department of Philosophy

The department was established in 1994 with Mrs. Bibha Rani Bhattacharyya as the founder lecturer of the department. Mrs Dolima Sarma joined the department as Assistant Professor (contractual) on (year). The department offers regular courses to HS and BA students.

                   The student – teacher relation is also very cordial. There is a departmental library present at the department with various valuable books to guide the students to get more information about the subject. Most of the students take initiative under the guidance of their teacher to celebrate various extra – curricular activities like wall magazine, college related seminars, subject related group discussions, sports activities and socio – cultural voluntary work for the department as well as the college in general.
