Brief Library Rules
Opening Hours:
Library remains open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Book Issuing Hours:
10.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on all Working Days, except 2nd & 4th Saturday
Borrowing Privilege:
For Honours/Major Course Students : 3 Books
For Minor Course Students : 2 Book
Issue Period:
15 days from the date of issue of book
Late Fine:
Rs. 1/- per book per day shall be charged
Library Identity Card:
Students must keep ID card whenever they come to the library and produce it at the time of issue and return.
Library Card is non-transferable
Property Counter:
Students must keep their belongings at the property counter while entering the library. They are advised not to keep valuable items, money, mobile phone in the property counter.
Library Staff shall not be held responsible for loss of any valuable item kept in the property counter.
STRICT SILENCE must be maintained in the reading room
USE OF MOBILE PHONE inside the library is strictly prohibited
STRICT DISCIPLINE must be maintained while browsing Internet
BOOK BANK FACILITY is available for EWS category students
WebOPAC service is accessible through https://sbdcollegelibrary.webopac.online
Digital Library Facility is accessible through http://sbdeorahcollege.digitallibrary.co.in/
E-Resources can be accessed through N-LIST, National Digital Library etc.
Students must maintain cleanliness and hygienity of the library
Students should not misplace the position of the book in the book rack
Damage of any property of the library will warrant strict disciplinary action
Students should always switch off the fans, lights and computers when not in use
Violation of Library Rules will attract action under the guidelines of the detailed library rules.
